Individual Therapy

Together we will work gain a deeper understanding of yourself, process emotions, and address the underlying dynamics impacting your life, including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and relational or intergenerational issues. I use a combination of polyvagal theory, somatic therapy, CBT, DBT, ACT, and attachment-informed practices to create a personalized approach that meets your unique needs.

Our work will go beyond surface-level symptom relief by focusing on healing the deeper causes of your struggles. Empowering you through self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and meaningful emotional processing, we’ll work to help you move through anxiety and avoidance to experience lasting change. You’ll cultivate a sense of calm, grounding, and safety, even when life feels unpredictable. Over time, you’ll learn to trust yourself and your ability to handle whatever comes your way without constantly bracing for disaster. You’ll also find more comfort and connection in your relationships, allowing yourself to be seen and known without fear.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

I offer EMDR as a specialized treatment for clients seeking to process past trauma, distressing memories, and negative beliefs that impact their present life. This evidence-based modality has been shown to help clients heal quickly and effectively. If you feel stuck in patterns related to past trauma or anxiety, EMDR might be a powerful option for you.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing memories, particularly those related to trauma. It is effective for conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and emotional difficulties.

Traumatic memories are often stored in the brain in a fragmented way, causing them to feel current rather than past events. This can lead to heightened emotional and physical responses, nervous system dysregulation, and difficulty forming healthy connections. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, tapping, or auditory cues—to activate the brain's natural healing process, allowing the brain to reprocess and integrate these memories more healthily, reducing emotional distress and promoting stability.

Research shows that EMDR often leads to faster relief than traditional talk therapy, with many clients experiencing improved emotional regulation, reduced anxiety, and better connection with others.
