Welcome, I’m Tasia (she/her/hers)
Associate MFT No. 143314
Clinically Supervised by PatrickLyra Wilder, LMFT No. 98562
To sit with someone in their most vulnerable moments is an honor I take seriously, creating a space where healing, growth, and self-discovery can unfold. I don’t take lightly the privilege of being entrusted with your story—your pain, your hopes, your fears—and I approach this work with deep care and responsibility. I believe healing happens in the presence of safety and understanding, and my role is to hold space for you as you explore what feels heavy, confusing, or unspoken. Therapy isn’t just about coping—it’s about gaining insight, reclaiming your sense of self, and creating lasting change that resonates in both mind and body.
I am passionate about working with underrepresented communities, including LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, children and adolescents, and families supporting loved ones through addiction or the coming-out process. My work is deeply personal to me, and I continue to learn and grow—both professionally and personally—so that I can show up fully for my clients.
Therapy is a space for healing, but also for curiosity, connection, and even laughter. I invite you to reach out, and together, we can explore what healing looks like for you.
My Approach
There is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy; our work together will be uniquely tailored to your goals and experiences.
As a trauma-informed, social justice-minded therapist, I provide a safe and inclusive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I believe deeply in the mind-body connection and use somatic-based approaches to help clients regulate their nervous systems and restore balance. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or interpersonal challenges, I tailor therapy to your unique needs, always honoring your innate resilience and strengths.
My role with clients emphasizes being a caring collaborator, teammate, advocate and ally for all. I believe that you are the true expert of your life and must be active in the therapy process to facilitate the self-growth and development that are natural by-products of honest, integrative therapeutic work.
In addition to my trauma-informed, somatic-based approach, I am also EMDR-certified, trained to help clients process and heal from trauma in a safe, efficient, and empowering way. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful tool I use to help clients reframe and heal from past experiences, supporting you in reclaiming peace and balance in your life.

What to Expect
Step 1:
Consultation
Schedule your free 20-minute consultation to explore how we can work together. I’ll ask about your needs and what brought you to therapy, and you’re welcome to ask me questions as well. If we’re a good fit, we’ll discuss fees and schedule your intake appointment when you’re ready to move forward.
See below for more information about the initial consult call.
Step 2:
Intake Appointment
Your intake appointment is our first full session together, where we’ll explore your history, current challenges, and goals for therapy. This is a space for you to share your story at your own pace while we begin building a foundation of trust and understanding. Together, we’ll develop a plan tailored to your needs, ensuring you feel supported as we move forward in your healing journey.
Step 3:
Let the Work Begin
Once we begin meeting regularly, we’ll explore your experiences and uncover the patterns that may be holding you back. I believe that healing is a journey—one that takes time and can feel uncomfortable at times. Together, we’ll work through the process with patience, compassion, and trust, knowing that lasting change is worth the effort.

During your free 20-minute consultation, we’ll take the time to discuss:
Your Current Situation: We'll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy and explore the challenges you’re facing, which helps me understand your needs.
Previous Therapy Experiences: If you've had therapy before, we’ll review those experiences to better tailor our approach.
Setting Goals: We’ll identify your goals for therapy, whether it’s personal growth, relationship work, or coping with specific challenges.
Practical Details: We’ll go over any questions you have about fees, scheduling, and the logistics of starting therapy.
This initial call will take place via Zoom, and is a chance for us to connect and determine if we’re a good fit to work together on your healing journey.
